Amita Sethi
Amita is a graduate student in the Interdisciplinary Telecommunications Program at University of Colorado at Boulder. She has an undergraduate degree in Computer Science and Engineering from Mysore University, India. Prior to joining CU she worked for Aricent Technologies, formerly Hughes Software Systems, India, for five years. Her association with Aricent was primarily pertaining to telecommunication software development. At Aricent, she was part of a six-member on-site development team at Nokia Research Centre (NRC), Germany. At NRC, she worked in the Radio Access Network development team of a third generation wireless project. She also represented Aricent as their field engineer at the 3G testing lab in Nokia Networks, Finland in March 2005. Amita's current research focuses on potential Denial-of-Service attacks in the Cognitive Radio Networks.
